Blogging tip #1- How to create blog worth Subscribing to.

Do you know the difference between a good blog and a great one?

A good blog will have possibly 100 or so followers, a few comments, and about 20 or so blog posts. A great blog will have 500 or more subscribers, 50 or more posts, and best part: AMAZING traffic!

So, which one is yours?

When I first started this Blog, I had high hopes for it. Do not take me wrong, I still do. The only thing that has changed when it came to my vision of this blog is the work, and the amount of followers I have received so far. When I started this blog, I did so because I wanted to create a blog that I could update every single day, and as much as I could through out the day. The traffic, subscribers and money was, honestly, just a plus.

I never once thought that this blog would have the popularity it quickly achieved in less than a month. This leads me to the topic of this post: Do you have a blog worth subscribing to?

If the answer is YES. Then good job! However, if you are a writer that creates a new post everyday and still sees very little to no results on a monthly basis, then LET'S FIX THAT!

One of the things that makes a blog worth subscribing to is the information that it shares with it's audience. Do you have enough information that your readers will consider coming back to? If you do, then that means that you have already created loyal readers. This means more traffic in the future, and do not forget: more earnings!

So, how do you create a blog worth subscribing to? And even better, a Blog that can bring
you A LOT of money?

There are three things that every blog needs to be popular:
  1. A great title. Titles can sometimes make or break a blog. It all depends on what you want your blog to say, and what you are offering on it. If your blog is all about freelancing, then it should have writing or something to do with words somewhere on the title. When someone uses the word "writing, or make money writing" 9 out of 10 times, a blog comes up as a link on search engines. So, if you want your blog to be successful, think about the title.
  2. Great content. I can vouch for this, as well as hundred of other writers. If you have great content, not a lot but GREAT content, then it is likely that you will come up more on searches. When I first started this blog, I did not use social networking sites to increase my traffic, I looked up my blog using search engines such as Bing, Google, and AOL to start out with. Then I moved on to Yahoo, MSN and so on. The results were AMAZING! Not only did I see an increase of traffic of 100 views, but right enough, my earnings shot up too.
  3. Can you navigate your blog? If you find your blog to be difficult to navigate, or kind of complicated, it is most likely that so will your audience. Create a blog that is not only FUN to see, but also easy to navigate through and find things by just searching for keywords. This is by far one of the best things that you can do to increase the popularity of your blog!
Many bloggers believe that they need to invest money to get money out of their blog. The reality is that there are some great programs out there that CAN help you achieve the traffic that you want on your blog, however, I prefer to learn the tricks of the trade and save myself the money, so that I can invest it in OTHER projects!
